Regional Technical Advisor, Tanzania
Harrison Mariki has worked in supply chain management for nearly four years, building the capacity of people and systems supporting public health supply chains in Tanzania. He started his career providing technical support to medical stores department (MSD) in inventory management of HIV/AIDS, Malaria, family planning, Tuberculosis, and Leprosy commodities as a supply chain monitoring advisor. He has extensive field experience as part of the logistics management unit where his role was to strengthen data collection, integrity and use at service delivery points for logistics decisions through implementation of innovative solutions like the electronic logistics management information system and the ILSGateway. He has also participated in the quantification of commodities for HIV programs and in the design of logistics systems. Prior to joining inSupply, he worked as the supply chain advisor for the Tanzanian Ministry of Health Results-Based Financing (RBF) scheme funded by USAID and the World Bank. Mr. Mariki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is fluent in Swahili.
