Yasmin Chandani

Project Director

Ms. Yasmin Chandani is the director of the inSupply Project, implemented by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. Trained in epidemiology and public health, Ms. Chandani has been involved in all aspects of supply chain management of essential health commodities for over 18 years, supporting and advising national governments and NGOs. Ms. Chandani spent the previous five years leading the Supply Chains for Community Case Management (SC4CCM) Project, which worked both at the community level strengthening supply chain systems and at a global level working with partners on global forecasting and market shaping for health products. Prior to the SC4CCM project, Ms. Chandani served as a thought leader on the USAID | DELIVER PROJECT. In this role, she designed and strengthened HIV/AIDS supply chains to meet the needs of prevention, care, and treatment programs that had begun to emerge in the early 2000s. As part of this work, Ms. Chandani was instrumental in developing and adapting forecast methodologies for these products to capture the nuances of these products and programs. Ms. Chandani is known for her rigorous attention to quality and her persistent emphasis on skills transfer and systematic, systemic institutionalization.
